Individual Design, Made In The Highlands

Not quite sure where to start other than WOW!! We absolutely loved our stay last week at your beautiful house. Its location, the decor and furnishings, the view, the fact it’s so unique compared to other properties on the coastline just delighted us.

Camilla and Chris, London

You’ll find elegant hints of Scottish tweed, luxurious hotel-style linens and handcrafted furnishings from artisan designers and craft-makers. Indulge yourself with cosy dressings gowns and a long soak in the hand-made copper bath which looks out to the sea, or curl up with a book in front of the wood-burning stove. Winter, summer, spring or autumn, you’ll find The Shorehouse a magical place to be.

A Landscape Of Sea, Islands, Mountains And Birdlife

Perfect for a stay on Skye – The house is right on the waterfront and was great for walks on the beach and swimming. The full length windows along the whole front of the house and the sheltered patio gave spectacular views of the sea, the mountains and the weather.

James and Ella, USA

Be prepared to lose yourself in the view as the ever-changing tides and skies meaning no one moment is like the next. With your own private access to the shore you can find solitude in seconds. For wildlife lovers, settle back and watch the resident and migratory birds at home in the bay, (one of the best places for bird-watching on the island), or look out for an otter or deer passing by.

The Perfect Haven After A Day Exploring

An oasis of tranquillity – Fabulous location, beautiful property and everything you need for a perfect holiday. When the weather isn’t perfect and you return cold and wet, the house embraces you in warmth and comfort. And the view is wonderful. We will definitely return.

Derna, Germany

After a long day exploring the island, there’s nothing like coming home to comfort. The Shorehouse has an open-plan lounge -kitchen-diner with wood-burning stove and panoramic views to the bay. The views continue from the master bedroom which has a separate dressing area, to the ensuite bathroom with shower and bath. Both rooms have panoramic windows look out on to the sea. Outside, the covered verandah means you can get cosy and watch the stars, whatever the weather.
