We have stayed in high-end self-catering properties around the world and this is up there amongst the best.

We fell in love with the Isle of Skye on our very first visit and moved here soon after, bowled over by the stunning landscape and the wonderful sense of community here. That was back in 2010. Since then we have restored Harbour House to its current glory, completely rebuilt Waterside Cabin, refurbished Waterside Cottage from the ground up, and commissioned The Shorehouse, our architect-designed property that was three years hard graft in the making.
It has been an incredible adventure and we have loved every minute. What is more, we have met some wonderful people along the way. We hope we can share our passion for the Isle of Skye with you too.
Beyond our expectations
We had the most unbelievable stay! Fiona and David’s place is beyond beautiful and the pictures do not do it justice. The view is absolutely amazing, the house is very well laid out and extremely clean. We had everything we needed for the perfect stay.
Our ethos is simple – we create spaces that we would want to stay in – cosy, comfortable, distinctive, with a bit of luxury thrown in, and worthy of making good memories. We have been lucky enough to stay in some incredible properties around the world and we always try to make sure we apply the same standards here as we have enjoyed elsewhere. We carefully seek out furnishings and furniture and we source from local artists and craft-makers whenever we can.
And it’s a journey that doesn’t stop. We ask every guest to let us know what they did and didn’t like, and where we can, we make the changes they ask for. That way we can keep things just as they should be.
Skye is a phenomenal island – for its landscapes, its culture, its people, its food and its stories. We hope we can welcome you to this very special place in the coming months.

Absolutely excellent accommodation – spacious, immaculate and the furnishings/ fittings make the house a delight to stay in. Really felt at home and made our trip to Skye all the better!
