WATERSIDE COTTAGE

We had a wonderful two night stay while we explored Skye. The space was perfect for our 3 generations, my parents, my partner and I and our son. The rooms were cozy, comfortable and well maintained. Fiona’s house was beautiful. We had the best stay. While my husband and I hiked and explored Skye my parents enjoyed the house and beautiful garden. ‘I couldn’t have chosen a better place to stay for my girls trip. This place is centrally located, quiet w beautiful views of the harbor and a dedicated parking spot. Beds were perfect, showers and baths, living area and game room and we appreciated 2 dryers as we were a group of 4 ladies with lots of hiking gear. The welcome pack was great too, I’ve been trylng to find those seaweed chips everywhere to no avail! It was serene and peaceful right from walking in the door. Every amenity and direction had been carefully thought out and I would absolutely recommend this place for anyone looking for a respite while exploring Isle of Skye, just phenomenal. THE SHOREHOUSE

Ethereal escape – We are still talking about our magical 4-night stay at the Shorehouse. We are very picky, and it exceeded our expectations. Perfect comfort, cleanliness, and natural setting. We also really enjoyed being based in Broadford. It was super convenient for exploring all of Skye while also providing a nice nearby village setting that was super pleasant with the right amount of amenities. If we return to Skye, we will not hesitate to stay, again. It was exactly what we’d been looking for in terms of upscale yet private lodging where we could unplug and have fires and romantic dinners in comfort and beauty.’ Amy, September 2024

We were in awe of the beauty staying in this cabin! It was the perfect location for our trip to stay 3 nights on Skye as a jumping off point for our adventures on the island and super close to the bridge and local restaurants. The cabin was beautifully decorated, comfortable and filled with every amenity you could need. Our favourite part of the cabin was the decking overlooking the bay. The location felt private and peaceful yet near to small shops and some lovely restaurants – we particularly enjoyed The Sprig. I had a wonderful stay at the cabin. I arrived by public transport from Kyle and the bus driver kindly let me off just opposite the cabin. There were some lovely local walks but equally just amazing to sit and watch the tide coming in and going out. It’s a wonderful location to feel connected to nature. At the same time not feeling cut off and being able to walk about 10 mins to a couple of restaurants and a bit further to Broadford for a supermarket. Also managed to arrange a tour of the island with Skye Tours who picked me up from just outside the cabin. So I would highly recommend a stay at the cabin and it’s was easily doable without a car.
We loved staying in the gorgeous little cabin, with stunning morning views (and rainbows) and a cozy interior. There was a yellow weather warning for wind during our stay but it didn’t stop us from exploring all Skye has to offer. On the dark evenings we turned on the electric furnace and played a few board games that we brought with us. We truly felt like home there and had everything we needed. We appreciated the comfy bed, the spacious shower and the privacy that the cabin offered. Kati, Feburary 2025
We stayed for roughly a week here and really enjoyed it + already plan another trip here next year, the cabin was beautiful especially with the view where we also had the luck that an otter came for a short visit near the cabin.’ December 2024
This is our 2nd visit to the cabin and it’s like a little bit of heaven situated where it is looking across Broadford bay! Cannot fault it in any way.

We spent a wonderful 7 days at Waterside Cabin at the start of August. The location is amazing with a view over the estuary. We saw so many birds and also grey seals. The location is very convenient for all the major attractions on Skye. Also Broadford has a number of great options to eat including the Hebridean Inn opposite. The cabin is a great option for couples. We would definitely recommend. August 2024
I booked the cabin as a base for some hill-bagging – the weather wasn’t kind, but it didn’t matter because the cabin turned out to be a perfect place to stay in with a book and watch the constantly changing weather. The view from the cabin is superlative, the location is brilliant for local walks and for driving further afield and the cabin itself is a delight, with all kinds of thoughtful details and, most importantly, a seriously comfortable bed. I loved my stay here, and have already booked to return ! June 2024
